There is something special about stepping into a room filled with people who share the same passion for exceptional food and drink — and this year’s Welsh Food and Drink Awards was a brilliant reminder of just how inspiring the industry in Wales truly is.
From the moment we arrived at the Building Society Arena in Swansea, there was a real sense of excitement in the air. Surrounded by some of Wales’ most innovative producers, ambitious independent brands and passionate industry professionals, we were incredibly proud to be there representing Tumptonics and celebrating the people and businesses shaping the future of Welsh food and drink.
A Proud Moment for Tumptonics
Being shortlisted for Small Drinks Producer of the Year was an achievement we were immensely proud of.
As an independent brand with sustainability, conscious sourcing and quality at the heart of what we do, recognition like this means a great deal to our entire team. Behind every bottle of Tumptonics is an enormous amount of thought, hard work and care — from the ingredients we choose to the way we approach growing our business.
To have that commitment recognised alongside so many outstanding Welsh producers made the occasion particularly special.
Celebrating an Incredible Industry
The evening was about much more than awards. It was a chance to connect with the people behind some of Wales’ most exciting food and drink businesses. We exchanged ideas and heard the stories behind their journeys.
One of our highlights was spending time with the two fantastic brands seated alongside us. We shared experiences and discussed the opportunities and challenges within the industry. It was also a great chance to learn more about each other’s businesses.
There was a real sense of community throughout the evening. Independent businesses supported one another and celebrated each other’s successes. Most importantly, there was a shared ambition to keep moving the Welsh food and drink industry forward.
Highly Commended for Small Drinks Producer of the Year
Then came the moment we had all been waiting for: the awards.
We were absolutely delighted to be named Highly Commended for Small Drinks Producer of the Year.
For us, it was more than a moment on an awards night. It was recognition of how far Tumptonics has come and of the passion and perseverance that have brought us to this point.
What began as a farm diversification dream has grown into a brand we are incredibly proud of. Every milestone along the way has reinforced our belief that it is possible to build a drinks business that champions great flavour while remaining thoughtful about where ingredients come from and how products are made.
