For Tumptonics, the recent Torfaen, Monmouthshire and Blaenau Gwent Business Awards 2025 marked a major milestone in our journey as a growing Welsh business.
Not only were we nominated amongst an incredible group of businesses from across the region, but we were also honoured to take home our very first business award!
As a company built on innovation, resilience, and a commitment to doing things differently, receiving this recognition means a huge amount to the entire Tumptonics team.
Tumptonics was nominated for Rural Business of the Year. The category celebrated businesses demonstrating excellence in areas such as innovation, sustainability and rural business impact.
A Milestone for the Business
As our very first award, the recognition represents far more than a trophy. It reflects the hard work, long hours, challenges, and determination that have gone into building Tumptonics from the group up.
Since launching the business in 2025, the company has continued to flourish.
The award also highlights the strength of innovation and entrepreneurship happening across Torfaen, Monmouthshire, and Blaenau Gwent, with businesses from a wide range of industries coming together to celebrate successes across the region.
Celebrating Welsh Business
The awards evening brought together businesses, entrepreneurs, organisations, and community leaders from across South Wales to recognise the ambition, creativity, and resilience driving the regional business community forward.
Held at The Parkway Hotel, Cwmbran on the 27th November, the event celebrated achievements across sectors including, food and drink, manufacturing, distribution and IT industries.
Highlights from the evening included Lucy Owens as host, speaking to friends old and new and spending time with our wonderful team.
Sara attended alongside the full team, consisting of Mark, Angharad, Amelia, Dom and Kate. It was a wonderful evening with excellent food and a good opportunity to spend an evening away from the farm enjoying the team’s company.
Looking Ahead
Winning our first award marks an exciting chapter for Tumptonics, but it is also motivation to keep pushing forward.
As we continue expanding our work across Wales, we remain committed to building a business focused on innovation, sustainability, and meaningful impact.
